At James Lathem Excavating we offer aggregate hauling services for customers in Temiskaming Shores and the surrounding areas. We deliver various materials listed below. Whether you need materials for residential landscaping, commercial landscaping, parks, playgrounds, or construction sites we can handle your delivery with our professional fleet of dump trucks.
SAND
Our sand is versatile and multi-use. Commonly used as a base for pavers, road construction, fill, landscaping products and more.
GRANULAR 'A'
Base leveling material prior to application of asphalt or concrete. Also, for the surface of roadways, parking areas and driveways.
PIT RUN
Pit run is usually comprised of rocks up to 12″, but typically 6″ or less. Commonly used as the base layer of gravel for roads, driveways or any large area.
CRUSHER CHIPS
Crusher Chips are ideal for the residential construction of driveways, trails, garden pathways, and much more.
SCREENED TOPSOIL
Screened topsoil is nutrient rich that has had the stones and roots removed. Uses included gardening, lawn prep for seed or sod and topdressing.
SCREENED SAND
Screened sand is used for septic systems; backfill for pipes and foundations; horse rings and other spots for drainage.
COBBLESTONE 4" - 12"
Cobblestone is a natural building material based on cobble-sized stones, and is used for pavement roads, streets, and buildings.
SCREENED PIT RUN
Our screened pit run has been run through a screening plant to remove rocks larger than 3.5”. When placed dry will pack concrete-like.
3/4" PURE STONE
Our 3/4" Pure Stone is a great base for under foundations or decks, inside windows wells, french drains or anywhere compaction is not needed.
LIMESTONE
Limestone is commonly used in roadbuilding, where a strong, robust base is needed to withstand the weight of traffic.
